Biosensitive Futures

For healthy people on a healthy planet

Exchanging information and ideas about the way forward
to an ecologically sustainable, healthy and equitable society

Biosensitive Futures contributes to social change by encouraging informed discussion and debate about the social changes that will be necessary to achieve the transition to a biosensitive society.

Biosensitive Futures covers a growing range of topics and has two Parts, centred on this website.

Part 1 - Facts and principles (What and Why) presents relevant information from the sciences about the human place in nature and key ecological and health issues facing societies today (green menu on the left).

Part 2 - The Roundtable (How) invites individuals and community groups to contribute their ideas about the implications of the Facts and Principles on social changes that will be necessary to achieve sustainable biosensitive societies. Some contributors focus on changes in the societal arrangements – like the economic or education systems. Others deal with practical steps that can be taken by individuals, families, community groups, businesses and governments. You can also blog your comments on the Part 2 contributions and report your own experiences. (light brown menu on the left)

The outcomes of this continuing process are being widely disseminated - on the web, through publications and in other media.
